Warranty policy

The guarantee policy covers the following topics:

  1. Right of revocation
  2. Warranty policy

1. Right of revocation

The consumer must check upon delivery whether the Canopy products correspond to the order. If this is not the case, please contact us by email to canopy@canopy.be as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days after receipt of the goods.

The consumer has the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days if the sale takes place online or remotely. This period of 14 calendar days is calculated from the delivery of the order. The consumer does not have to give a reason for cancellation. In order to exercise your right of revocation, please inform us by email to canopy@canopy.be that you wish to revoke your purchase.

The entire product must be returned in undamaged and unused condition. Furthermore, the product must be returned in its original packaging. As soon as we receive the returned Canopy products undamaged, the paid purchase price of your order will be refunded. All shipping costs are borne by the customer.

The right of revocation cannot be invoked if it concerns goods that have been specifically designed according to the wishes of the individual customer (e.g. logo imprint).

2. Warranty policy

General warranty period

With every purchase of items from our folding tent, accessory and Starshade ranges, you are entitled to a 2-year warranty on production defects (such as stitching and waterproofing) that occur during normal use and maintenance or when the product does not match its description. This warranty period applies from the time of delivery.

Invoking your warranty

If you would like to make use of your warranty, please contact us via email to canopy@canopy.be. Please include a copy of your purchase receipt/invoice, a description of the reason why you wish to make use of the warranty and some pictures if you wish to exchange a product or submit it for repair. Canopy will confirm within 5 working days whether or not your warranty request is accepted and what actions you need to take. If your request is accepted the return costs are at our expense.

Cases in which the warranty does not apply

The warranty does not cover the following aspects: damage caused by intent, gross negligence, negligent maintenance, incorrect maintenance using incorrect cleaning products, treatment and coloring agents, incorrect assembly and storage, mold, wear, damage after use in abnormal weather conditions and use contrary to the attached instructions. Furthermore, you cannot invoke the warranty if changes have been made to the product without Canopy’s consent and if you are unable to submit a purchase receipt or invoice.

Realistic use

Canopy offers different product ranges for occasional, frequent and very frequent and professional use. The warranty can only be applied if the realistic use is in accordance with the designated use of each of the products. Canopy reserves the right to make this assessment independently when deciding whether to accept the repair or replacement request.

Canopy does not offer any other warranty and is not liable for any consequential or incidental damages or injuries resulting from the use of Canopy products.
